I played some poker...kinda

As stated in the title I played a little poker this weekend. I woke up about 10:30 A.M. on saturday morning and my g/f was still asleep so I played some plo. I played 2 tables again (something I will increase probably tonight). I played about 100 or so hands and I was down around 30 bucks, which was sucky. Then I flopped top set on a 234 rainbow flop and daleroxxu bet the pot, like 1.75 so I called, I figured that he has the straight here but if I get a boat I could stack him and start my comeback. Next card gives a heart flush draw, he beats pot, which is like 4 bucks so I call and its a 4 giving me a nice boat to float on and I bet the remaining 3.50 (its a cap game) he called because the pot size and I had bluffed in a similiar situation early like this that he called me on but this time I won. He flopped the straight and had a flush draw, I almost felt bad. Then the next hand I had 7810j double suited the pot was like 2 dollars a person preflop and the flop came 6 9 k and I had 2 back door flush draws and a bunch of straight draws, I checked the original raiser bets pot I go all in he calls with a set of kings, ouch I catch straight on river yes!!! I literally won the next 5 hands in a row 3 of which were max betted and I ran my 10 bucks on the table to 60 and decided to quit and get some food. So i won 30 bucks and am now up to 630 bucks, which means I am up about 120 since last saturday. Its still only 63 buyins which I need to increase before i start playing a bunch of table. Also it was weird playing with a team pstars pro whose blog I read. He plays good, but enough tables to exploit with a little agression in spots where he would normally be agressive to steal an easy pot. This weekend I watched ufc fights with friends and saw the movie hall pass. It was not too good, i suggest seeing the new adam sandler movie instead its much funnier. Also, St. louis has a dog parade every year and that was fun, but it makes me miss my dog that died in december. I need a new one asap, once I get the time to properly train/love it.

I didnt play again lol

I went to g/fs, but first I stopped by my house to get my laptop to play some poker while I'm over there....it didnt happen. First of all it was raining super hard so my 40 minute commute turned into and hour and 20 minutes which is quite the ass chapper. Then we watched some dvr'ed episodes of boy meets world, dont judge me I loved the show as a kid and it makes you feel a certain way when I watch it. So then I watched jersey show, again dont judge me that and the real world are the only "new" shows I watch. So by the end of that I was tired so I went home and got some sleep. I will play hopefully alot over the weekend, but next month I will be achieving (or attempting to achieve) gold star. I will do this via 4-tabling plo. I will do this some over the weekend to make sure I am comfortable doing so. It should be interesting. At the end of each month I will use my fpps to play to win T$ and I will use that to play either the new 50 50s or 6-man sngs to make real money from them. Some people trade in the T$ for cash but I think Id rather play to see if I can earn more and it is like a free change of scenery to play sngs for a day. Well I will update again Monday

Madden Game and NBA

I played my 16th and final game of the reg season like I said last post. I played someone that was 14-1 and i was 12-3. We played a long back and forth game but with 6 minutes left he had a 21-7 lead and it did not look good. He faced a 4-1 on his 30 so he punted it to me and my comeback began. I through a streak to johnny knox (speed like 97) and his safety had good position on me, but he jumped to early and I caught it for like a 68 yard td, 21-14. With like 4 minutes left and I have all 3 timeouts. I kickoff and stop him three and out and get the ball with 2:02 left on the clock. I mixed up runs and passes beautifully to score with 30 seconds left. Then my D stopped him and we went to ot. I got the ball first drove down to his 40ish and on third collie got open but i threw it too far it crushed my game. He got the ball back I had him 3rd and ten and he threw a screen. I had cover 3 so my guy met him after a nine yard gain but he broke the most redic tackle ever and ran for 50 yards and the win. The game didnt change the seeding and I play him again next, with vengeance in mind. I think played MWF2 and my team won 17 straight games then we lost so I left to go to bed. I played 0 poker.
I have been reading a lot about how these trades in the NBA have ruined the game and the NBA needs to do something about it. Can I please ask why? I don't get it, I rarely watch pro bball until playoffs but if I see a miami, orlando, boston, La, or chicago game on i watch. I mean there is a salary cap and these teams are supposed to be pro. The league has a lot of similiar features to the NFL but u still see different winners of the superbowl basically every year. I mean baseball has been bad or worse then nba because their players move for money at least the basketball players move to win. Not only that but basketball has always been notorius for dynasties, I mean La has had one like 3 times, boston had one insane dynasty and the bulls owned the 90s, I just think now instead of having one powerhouse team we have 5 or 6 and thats good. Sure the bad teams get worse, but the ok teams have gotten really good. It makes the top of the top more competitive which is I think what we all want in the long run. Otherwise should we make a rule that no one that averages double doubles or over 20 points play on a team with another player that does so. How redic. sorry for the rant I have plans for playing more poker tonight will update tomorrow.

update

Well last night I had to run a few errands, then played a little call of duty mw2 because black ops sucks, see old post. I played for about 2 hours and I hadn't played in about 3 weeks. I played with 3 friends we played tactical (4v4) and we didnt lose at all. I forgot how good I am at that game especially capture flag and search and destroy. Anyways I played because my girlfriend was over, which means I was free to use the xbox. I played poker for about 45 minutes and realized there a lot of regs in the game already and I was kinda shocked. I played 2 tables, but I was too bored I have to up it to 4 tables tonight to peak my interest. I was bored so I spewed a little too much and lost 10 bucks so Im still up like 88 on the week. Tonight I have to fill out two job aps to school districts. Which fwiw is redic that they are paper apps, most school districts have electronic apps or at least they have me email them the information. But those will take a while and I have to play my madden game for my online season, its the last game, I'm 12-3 with 6 people in the league and the computer is on all-madden which is the hardest difficulty. I play probably the best player tonight and then one of the best the first round of the playoffs because somehow with a 12-4 or 13-3 record im the worst team in the playoffs....stupid tiebreakers. Anyways im gonna play some poker fill out some app then play some madden will update tomorrow, thanks for not reading lol.

Umm real poker again...yay

As the title says I was able to deposit money into my account and hopefully they dont say in a week there was a processing problem again or I'll be very unhappy about it. So on Saturday I deposited 500 into my account with already having a juicy 9.72 in it I was ready to play some .50 cap plo. I played 2 tables for a total of almost 3 hours this weekend, each session being about an hour and it was fun/profitable. It felt good to have the outcomes of each hand make my heart beat. I earned about 68 vpps during those hours, but way more importantly I won 98 dollars bringing me up to almost 608 dollars. It was a good weekend what can I say, I won 3/4 flips and people would call me down literally drawing dead after the turn. So far I feel like the cap play from these people is awful. I dead see some supernovas and imcastleman which is a bigger stakes sng player usually at my tables. I was at first kind of nervous to play against people who have played so many hand, but then I realized they are playing for the .45 vpps and the 10 dollar cap and playing so many tables they arent focusing too well. I took advantage as best I could of the massive multitablers. Like castle man had 18 tables of plo going and thats ridiculious unless u are the few people who can do that.
Anyways this weekend on fridayI went to a charity rat race thing and then to a bar where I ran into a bunch of old friends, ones I actually like, so that was nice. On Saturday I hung out with a bunch of friends and my girlfriend went out with her friends so I just drank a lot and drinking games til like 4 and slept on a recliner, yuck. Also, I was off yesterday for prez day, and just chilled out and relaxed with my girlfriend. We also went to borders because they were having a closing the store sale which had most books at 20% off, which isnt very much when the books cost 15 its like 3 bucks lame. Then my sister called and said she bought two tvs and needed me to bring them to her condo and set them up. I was happy to do that because I feel I dont often get the chance to really help family and when you do it, it feels really good.
Lastly, (sorry its so long I will update again now that I am playing poker) I had sent in an application to get staked/coached in sngs by the company pocarr, which is run by alex carr, who's blog I love to read when he updates it. Well I sent it in thinking/expecting a no, but I got a yes. I have a few problems now that I should have thought of. #1 I need to buy a new computer to run programs like sngwiz and TN so I am waiting til I do my taxes. #2 I am not sure I'd be able to play over 100 sngs a week at this moment. My current job is a 45 minute drive then im there 8 and a half hours then I drive and hour home (traffic increase). So its over 10 hour days, and if I start dedicating more time to working out which I am not that its almost getting warmer, and continuing having a life I cant play a lot of games. #3 I just started playing plo again and fell in love again (because of the run good im sure).
I feel like I need to say no until june when I work summer school which is half days and get a job that is closer to save me an hour on commute which I could play 10 games or more in. I feel like such an ass for having to say no, and hope I dont miss out on a great opportunity to work with a really good guy.
