50/50

Last night I got home, played madden, ate, had a little alone time with the g/f and then I was extremely tired. Monday after work is so hard because the weekends I tend to stay out until 4, or 4:30 am and I still wake up early from habit. So its hard to sleep sunday and I wake up at 5:30 for work daily. So i looked and I decided I was gonna play a sng and I remembered that I wanted to try the 50/50s so I did. I 1 tabled a 1.08 50/50 lol. The best part was I played 1 hand from the button like 4th level I raised with 5 7 hh and get one caller he checked on an Ace high flop, I bet and won and was up to 1700 in chips. Now these have 3 minute levels so people are going out left and right. I didn't play another single hand and made a 40 cent profit. I'm not saying its a lot but all I did was press fold about 25 or so times. I will do more research on this tonight. I am very interested to see if I could make profit by basically playing nothing but in great position 1 or 2 times a tourney or just playing top hands. I will update.

I played some Limit holdem this weekend a lost a little bit of money. I enjoyed it though its a lot less stressful than plo. I was able to play 6 tables super easy. I have quite a few leaks, but after I work out the kinks I know I can win and play at least 10 tables if not more. p.s. Im playing .50-1 so its not too high. I do earn ok vpp per hour it should be going up with the tables I play. I will update, thanks BUng

Bookshelf construction

I learned something this year on like january 4th. That lesson was that in order to properly assemble something you purchase u must follow the instructions. I am notorius for opening up a box full of shit to put together and instantly being overwhelmed. This January my mom and I assembled my treadmill, and it only took 2 hours. HAHA only I thought it would take like 1 hour tops, but there were 1000 parts when I opened it up. I am someone that likes to rush stuff, like I cant stand playing games with people that dont pay attention or move super slow, I want instant let down or satisfaction. Since then I have assembled a workout machine, a chair, and last night my g/fs bookshelf. There is a certain feeling you get after assembling something, its quiet gratifying. There is that certain feeling you get when you finish somethings its like nothing else in the world.
In other news I played no poker, instead I built the bookshelf and watched jersey shore then watched bball and went to sleep.
Also I read a blog called like baglifepoker its about a live poker player who quit his job like 5-6 months ago to play 1-2 full time and also online a little and move up in stakes. I really liked his blog until recently. I realized how bitter live cash grinders really are, at least he is. If someone has to say "I'm a good person," or "I'm not a bad guy." That usually means you are not the kind of person you want to be. I will never tell someone that I'm a good guy or a bad guy, get to know me and make up your own mind. People saying they are good instead of showing it is a pet peeve of mine and is lame. Ok well I have to go continue teaching the youth of america.

Well I did do my taxes, get my hair cut, and get an oil change in the last two days. So I view that as a success. However I played 5 6-mans and lost all of them. I cannot tell you how I ran in those, it was discusting. Like having j10 suited in bb and getting minraised by the dealer I call. I 10j4 rainbow flop I check he bets I reraise a lot he calls. Next comes a 5 and I go all in to his call with AK and gets the gut shot. Next table over I get kings and had around 12 bbs dealer raised I reraised all in he calls with Q10 off suit. I was like sweettt, flop 101010 wtf. So last night I played a little plo .10 and lost again, I just cant seem to focus on that game. I did play 3 275 vpp satties for the sunday storm and managed to win 2 tickets, which is 22 T$. I am not sure what I will play with those, but I will find something I know. Thanks Bung

1 time please

I am going to try to play more poker starting probably a little tonight and more tomorrow, because i have to get a hair cut tonight and get my oil changed. I want to play more because I wanna hit one of the milestone hands. If I could hit a milestone hand and boost my bankroll I would be so happy!!!!!!

I am pathetic

I played like 4 sessions and am down to 692. I had one day of dumb play/tilt where I didnt feel like playing, buy for some dumbass reason did. In other news I havent been eating fast food or drinking soda for 2 weeks now so that good. But during my spring break I enjoyed quite a few adult beverages that im sure didnt help the caloric count for those days. Also, I need a new job. One where I can make money, like actually money. I wish I knew people that could help me get a better job, but all my friends and people I know are like firefights, cops, still in school, or bums. I need to make connections that I havent yet. Any suggestions?

work work work, oh spring break nvm

I had to work 14 hours yesterday and the same today, so poker is not on the menu. However I am off for like 10 days for spring break. That means poker and hopefully lots of it. I am not sure when I'm gonna add a 4th table of plo but it should be soon. I think the max amount of tables I will play is 6 and I will try to always improve my play and move up in stakes. I'd rather play 6 tables to my best then grind out 20 and not fully think about my choices. Also a lot of blogs I read they make a good amount of money at like 1/2 holdem 20+ tables but they never move up. I'd rather not get to like 1/2 or 2/4 plo and just get stuck there because of all of my tables. Thats just how I think. Also I am going to be starting our madden season again tonight. Season 2 hopefully with a better outcome.
